The seventh alive and kicking weekend away returns to Quinta for fun, games and more - it’s akwa 2010 - follow the star.

Main sessions, workshops, worship and bible studies will explore the life of Jesus and what it means for us today. There will be a whole host of other activities including Saturday night entertainment, question time, challenges, sports, music, games, the legendary early morning walks, prayer room and some all new stuff for this year. On Sunday we’ll bring everything together in worship, sharing our experiences of the weekend in praise of God. There will also be time throughout the weekend for any other questions or issues you may want to discuss. With excellent food, beautiful countryside, a change to get away with old friends and make new ones, it’s a weekend not to be missed. akwa 2010 - follow the star!

Information and booking form available to the right.

akwaWho

The weekend is open to all young people who will be of high school age or above (11-18) in September 2009. As with all alive and kicking events, everybody attending will be at different stages of their Christian faith, you do not have to be a Christian or attending a church to come along. neither do you have to be a Kinver resident or alive and kicking member. The aim is to explore God, Jesus and Christianity in an exciting and relevant way.

Opened in 1986, Quinta Christian centre is a large multi-purpose centre which boasts high quality accommodation, beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities. Bedrooms are single-sex rooms of varying sizes. All meals will be provided by our excellent catering team and are included in the cost.
