"follow the star"
akwa 2010 returned to Quinta, near Oswestry, where we were joined for the weekend by Bart Woodhouse who lead us through a series of sessions on the life of Jesus (His baptism and temptation, choosing the disciples, the woman at the well, washing the disciples' feet and Jesus' death and resurrection).Over the weekend there was a choice of workshops (drama, music, craft, dance, drumming and challenge), challenge activities, early morning walks, small groups, worship, a film and a quiz. We even managed to squeeze in some free time in which you could enjoy the coffee shop, make use of the prayer room or the games room and do school work if you needed to. We ate together at one long table and community we shared during meal time was very important to the weekend. After the last meal of the weekend we share communion and this was a very powerful experience.
Everyone who went on the weekend had a great time and none of us can wait until next year!
