eleven
eleven was an event designed to provide a place where people could come together to explore God through music and other creative arts, prayer, teaching and discussion. it ran from may 2005 to december 2007 at 11am on the first sunday of every month, usually at potters cross church.we ran a wide-ranging programme of events (below) - each started with a time of coffee, refreshments, chat and friendship before going into a mix of praise, worship, prayer, reflection, discussion and learning, often facilitated by a visiting speaker. the emphasis was on providing a safe and welcoming space where people felt comfortable to ask questions about and discuss their faith - we aimed to provide a vibrant and welcoming environment where everybody was free to be who God made them to be.
